After enjoying your week at the Valentia Island Artist's paint-out please consider driving "the Ring of Kerry", one of Ireland's most famous scenic drives. The route is a circuitious one around the Iveragh Peninsula, a total distance of little more than 100 miles. In three to four hours driving time, each turn takes in a new panorama - rugged mountain passes, pleasant lakeside drives, breathtaking seascapes, pretty villages and a glimpse of rural Irish life little changed in many years.
