The Ring of Kerry

After enjoying your week at the Valentia Island Artist's Retreat please consider driving "the Ring of Kerry", one of Ireland's most famous scenic drives. The route is a circuitious one around the Iveragh Peninsula, a total distance of little more than 100 miles. In three to four hours driving time, each turn takes in a new panorama - rugged mountain passes, pleasant lakeside drives, breathtaking seascapes, pretty villages and a glimpse of rural Irish life little changed in many years.
